Annatto oil

Annatto is a wonder of nature as almost every part of the plant contains important nutrients beneficial for our body’s well-being, but the fruit is the most desirable part of the plant. The fruit is made up of spiky brown and red pods that grow in clusters. When these pods dry and crack open, they expose seeds of a red colour, from which red pigment can be extracted and it has a wide array of uses. Its strong pigmentation makes it a natural food dye, and it has plenty of applications in cosmetics.
